    Getting lighter here now! Just discovered my 5 year old son looking at the NW radar!!! He said 'look mummy its still pink.... there must be more snow coming!' Hope it doesn't disappoint him!!

    Currently 2cm here, I've just been out for a ciggie and a measure (how sad am)! Slightly smaller flakes now though, hope its not coming to an end.... *gets down on knees and prays for more* Still a very orange sky though so fingers crossed!!

    Road, driveway and car all covered now and still coming down!! Just wonder how much longer it will last?! If I had my way...... all night but unlikely I would think!?!

    Still snowing here! I also have a question, can anyone explain to me why it is settling on my drive but not on the road? I live in a lane which has a dead end so next to no traffic. Just curious if there was a reason? Thanks Anita

    My netweather radar is saying rain for me but its definitely snow.... I've just been out to check! Its actually getting a bit heavier as I type. Anyone else having this problem?

    Still looking ok according to bbc lunch time news?!? He said there was a lot more snow than they had expected! Lets hope there's still some left when it gets here!! Just waiting to see what Julie has to say on Look East now..... fingers crossed everyone

    Now I like that a lot! Essex (or dreamland as it will now be known) would definitely get some if that chart is right! How reliable are those particular charts at this timeframe? I seem to remember someone saying they have been very good the last few weeks when its this close?

    I really hope you're right! Was trying a bit of the reverse psychology!! Just gutted that we seemed to be in the firing line so many times only for it not to happen!
