    Temp below 0c, now light snow in the air, can see good size PPN North East of us, let’s see if this will give any accumulation.

    The front for Sunday looking a little more North and West, might bring east of Berkshire into the play.

    When I worked for the Railways it was 30cm and above after that you require a plough.

    I wouldn’t be surprised if you saw between 5 to 10cm by end of the day if you catch the band pushing in on ENE wind.

    Snow depth for Sunday, start to look more interesting further west from London.

    Looking at the models it seems East of Reading maybe on the edge of the front from the East, if it shifts 30 miles north and 30 miles west on the day might get a decent 5cm plus of snow, I think this will go down to radar watch.

    Some of you with knowledge maybe confirm, would this give us a Thames streamer having -11 to -12 uppers on a easterly?

    That PPN still looks strong, if it stays like this should get 1 hour of top up. We had 7cm earlier in Woodley Reading.

    Temp dropped sharply, dew point already at -1C looking good so far for tonights front pushing from the west.

    Reading done really well in Woodley we got about 7cm and might get some more showers this morning.

    Good start got a nice coverage and I’m sure the fun will begin in about hour or so.

    Looking at the radar the precipitation is really building up south of Reading i think Reading will do well in next hour or so.

    Light flurries blowing all day waiting for thicker stuff in next couple of hours, weather station now showing -0.8 c with -3.3 c dew point.

    It’s amazing how Reading is out of every Warning other then Wednesday hoping for 2cm max at this rate.

    Non event here, had about 1 hour of sleet/wet snow, disappointed.
