    Hello all. Hope you can help! I am spending xmas in Consett - travelling up this Wednesday afternoon and travelling back the following Tuesday. Any rough ideas whether I'll get snow when I'm there / will I be snowed in? I'd ideally not like to be stuck there!

    Snowing here, has been since at least 3am when I woke up to check. Maybe a couple of cm of fresh snow, but it's hard to tell when it's mixing in with the old stuff from Thursday.
