    All tailed off rather quickly now, still raining but very little electrical activity apart from the distant flashing from the stuff in the channel.

    Heavy rain now with lightning to my west, east and south now, lots of distant thunder and 1 CG spotted so far.

    Lightning and rumbles from literally all directions now as these cells start to fire up.

    Plenty of lighting visible with distant thunder to my SW, from the Weymouth cell by the looks of things.

    Here is the highlights i managed to capture from my phone of the never ending 4 hour storm over Poole last night, got to my viewing point at 9pm and left at 3am with the storm still flashing and rumbling behind me. Best bit is about 50 seconds in 1931521739_PooleStorm23-7-21.mp4

    Yeah some lovely cg's off the Bournemouth coast now, channel is really coming alive again.

    Yeah loads of activity now in the channel of the Dorset coast.

    Seem to have 2 distinct cells flashing away Infront of me, one to the south east and one to the south west of Poole.

    The bulk of that rain has passed here now and definitely seeing lots of activities from the cells behind the main band of heavy rain.

    Watching from Poole and can confirm an increase in lightning activity in the last 10 minutes after a quiet spell.

    Bit more than the odd CG down here on the coast, the detectors aren't picking up a quarter of what I'm seeing....
