  1. Surely the Met office will likely issue yellow warnings of snow and ice from Monday morning, upgrading to amber and possibly red if reading from the present charts.
  2. What an amazing chart, I think the UKMO has this in the bag, hope every 1 is happy uk wide
  3. Incredible charts, looking very much like the 1978/9 January winter, it will bring the uk into emergency measures for sure.
  4. 9 cm of snow.. snow day all schools are closed so what better to do then go sledging IMG_4802.MOV
  5. I will be out early tomorrow morning at 1st light I’ll update it and see if your correct. thanks for your knowledgeable posts
  6. Nothing in Hertford yet.. winds picking up and in between the dry zone.. in Amber zone and can see the heavy ppn a few miles away
  7. Met. Office had snow from 5 am to 8 am then sleet until 11am now it’s sleet from 5 am to 6 am then rain
  8. Search back into the forum threads from 26 th December 2010, it was 1 of the more experienced members that also said this, proof will be in 48 hours then come back and tell me I’m just talking a load of waffle
  9. The lack of manual data input into the models due to the holidays is correct, this also happened in 2010, those of us that have been on this forum may remember the same debate back then. Another 48 hours and I’m confident we will see a different output.
