    Flakes are thicker here now. It's still a bit too wet, roads and paths still have dark showing through, cars and grass covered though. Please keep snowing.

    Moderate snow falling here too, just down the road from you.yippee. 0c. i think it's getting heavier too, but obviously not settling yet.

    I like the fact that there's a threat as much as anything. Snow would be a bonus. The anticipation of expecting snow is up there or close to, seeing snow fall and start to settle. Albeit briefly, we've had as low as -3 but generally at least -1/-2 the last few nights, why couldn't it snow then. Fingers crossed there's a repeat, but knowing our luck it'll be 2c or something that diminishes our chances.

    i can now reply, i've just finished watching a film. thanks for the reply, i luv snow, i'll go with the monitor. i'm giving up here, it's obviously never going to be anything more than some wet flakes amongst the rain. so annoying.

    not sure if it actually is 1c. the mercury thermometer says about 3c but the digital one on my suunto heart rate monitor watch says 1c. which one do i trust? just took a look outside again. i think it's rain, but i like to think i can see some tiny flakes in amongst the droplets.

    we've got sleety rain stuff...to be honest i'm not sure what it is, it's thicker and heavier looking than rain and icy-ish. it's 1c here in kirton just east of ipswich and virtually on the coast.
