Quite heavy snow shower earlier on here lasted about 40 mins then turned bright and sunny for the rest of the day.Shower hit at 1.15 pm today.Grass & cars turned white.Then the sun come out and melted it all away.Cold though when shower hit temp dropped 3 c to 0.c then risen to 3 again afterwards

No but i been looking at the netweather 7 day forecast and its got snow over us for early as midnight tonight.Maybe its a load of rubish hmm

I like snow as much as anyone else if not more so.But always find once it gets to march its very unlikely/if it does it probably a snow/rain event.I dont think winter been that great apart from the 2 weeks of cold /snow at start of Jan other than that bit dissapointing mind u could be worse could be weeks of mild rain and wind.I think really i d just like weeks of cold weather with snow and ice on the ground for weeks on end .Maybe i should go live in Washington lol

Already frustrated now about the lack of snow left due to a thaw.Hopefully it wont be week after week of atlantic systems moving west to east like the norm.Today been a really annoying day watching all my 4 inches of snow melt at a rapid rate actually.Still i ll remain hopefull the cold will be back sooner rather than later On another note does anyone else prefer winter rather than summer im starting to feel as though im the only one out there which do.I detest the summer with a passion but when winter comes round i feel like some big kid.I think ive always been the same even when i was a tot i liked the snow as the majority of pics taken when i was young were pics of me in snow with little wellys on lol.Its strange what odd looks u get when u tell people u prefer winter rather than summer

I really wish gritters would stop puttin this grit down everywhere day after day now im getting bloody filthy from slush sprayed up only my clothes from other vehicles.grrrrrrrr This grit *** makes alot more mess than the snow and ice itself

Snows over now guys.Was fun whilst it lasted though wish every year it was like this.Anyway lots of winter yet to come and even brief talk on points west of it getting colder again next week.

As we still had a lot from the week before it do look deep tbh.Cant believe its snowed heavy at the same time for 2 weeks in a row and yet going by netweather 7 day forecast its possible it could be 3x in a row next week

I think it ll go off by 10 or 11am here i dont see a thaw today though.Local forecast last night said no thaw till thursday at the least.Shall need to walk to work today i think gets quite dangerous cycling in this weather temp at -0.5c

4 or 5 inches fell last night from 5pm onwards to even snowing still now.Looks like its going to get cold again by this time next week netweather even have snow for tuesday on there 7 day forecasr..good times
