For England and Wales, May 1932 was a very wet and dull month. Its the 4th wettest May on record. For Scotland and Ireland, it wasn't quite as wet.

Certainly notable for coming after a February that averaged 8mm. A quick look shows 1932 was a year of extremes in terms of rainfall with very dry and very wet months alternating.
