Is there anything happening in the mess south of here? Few convective blobs here but that's it.

CoventryWeather looks like all the development is much further north than forecasted, breeding storms for Yorkshire and Lincolnshire again....

Looks like its setting up for Northern England mostly but seems to just be heavy showers

Strikes off the NW coast out Formby way, N of Liverpool. Strikes also NW of Derby.  Potent showers now forming, in Midlands, and  NW.

What's the chances of everything passing to the north, west, south and east of us? 100% or 100%?

A small chance of a thundery shower hitting us. Still to hit the shield so could simply be shreeded in the next ten minutes or so.

Drove slightly west to the edge of the Peaks, some heavy rain and a few flashes but nothing special

Allseasons-Si A short spell of heavy rain but any thundery activity stayed far enough away that I didn't see anything. Briefly pepped up over the Peak District. Fingers crossed that it develops again for you.

In all honesty though, today is not a day that filled me with much excitement storm wise. A few flashes and the odd rumble at most I feel.

Some towers going up here. Seem to be brewing them for the north though.

The lack of cloud breaks prevented anything notable.

Hit the shield and faded into a moderate to heavy shower.

I’m gonna call this one a bust for me. 😞

Its very humid here, and what small breaks in the cloud we had around 15:30 - 16:00 have long since gone.

Just grey, cloudy skies.

So I shall leave the latest rainfall radar and lightning strike maps to hopefully help others out.

So unless anything changes or exciting happens… It’s over and out from storm starved here in North East Wales. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 ☁️☁️☁️

A day of grey cloud here. A slight break for about 20 minutes earlier this afternoon and then it clouded over again. Not even a shower here. I tend to ignore thunderstorm warnings up here, we always completely miss them.
