Seems unstable in the mid levels at the moment, some mammatus or asperitas clouds here currently.

I think you’re out of the moderate risk zone now, it looks to be along the southern counties and up the east coast

First proper storm in years for me. Plenty of lightning and thunder and lots of rain. 

Most storms pass to the East or West of me. Nice to get one that passes overhead for once.

Saw the first flash from the storm in the wash from Boston. Gutted it didn't get active just that tiny bit earlier!

Impressive cb from that storm east of york, saw it produced a few spherics. Showing a nice anvil now

I was told we had thunder and lightning early hours of this morning 

Slept through it though but she said it was not much and didn't last long so not disappointed I missed it

That was 5th thundery spell this year here usually I'm not even on 1 yet lol

Have a little bit of interest in late tonight and the early hours of Sunday

Some models look interesting at the moment may have to set alarm

Though things could change so will keep a eye on things and decide later if worth getting up or not

Recently had a heavy shower with hail in it and also a double rainbow.

Thunderstorm with decent structure here today no visible lightning though there was definitely a CG which must have struck the local power supply as we had a power cut and a couple of loud rumbles

Just been outside while the dog sniffs aimlessly around the garden, and I thought I heard very distant thunder!

And by Jove! There was a lightning strike round the Bangor-on-Dee area!

I wasn’t expecting that today!
