Your favourite birthday for weather

I'm not giving away my exact birthday though interestingly I was born under a strong anticyclone and I tend to prefer settled weather (thunderstorms and snow being the main exceptions!)

 I remember Atlantic 252 Not my birthday, but I do remember the Spawn of Nadine event. September had been fine and very pleasant thus far until it turned dire on that Sunday (the day I arrived back from southern France, incidentally). After a two-month gap, typical 2012 weather then returned with a vengeance for more than a month!

 Metwatch I hadn't thought of that, but yes, you're right! In many recent years we've had low pressure and fronts around on 18 June and then an anticyclone or ridge of high pressure has moved over between 20 and 22 June producing the aforementioned dry sunny weather. In 2019 and 2021 in particular it was a very short-lived ridge which just happened to coincide exactly with my birthday.

My birthday is March 25th, and this is all my birthdays going back to my 6th birthday in 2011 (Cant remember before that). I got very lucky from 2015 to 2022, and even 2023 was a half-decent day

2024 : Wet morning, Cloudy Afternoon. A miserable, cold day
2023 : A dire March, but produced a semi-sunny day and only one light shower midday
2022 : Warm and sunny, 18c
2021 : Mostly Sunny, Dry and Mild
2020 : Glorious day with a frosty morning and 15c clear sunny day
2019 : Very sunny with average temperatures
2018 : A cold and wet March but still gave me a sunny, spring-like day
2017 : SImilar to 2020, Frosty morning and Clear sunny day
2016 : Clear blue skies, and that day was sandwiched between two wet and dull days
2015 : Dry and Bright, Average temperatures
2014 : Cold, wet and miserable
2013 : Bitterly cold and snowy with a strong Easterly wind. Cloudy, but with some bright spells
2012 : Foggy morning, Warm and sunny afternoon
2011 : Mostly sunny and warm
