From a meteorological perspective, 10/10 easily. Possibly the most varied September in my lifetime with alternating warmth and cold. Frost and record breaking levels of rain, even thunderstorms. You can't deny that September was interesting, even if your preferences don't align with it.

Personal preference-wise, I gave it a 8/10 as I would've preferred it to be a bit sunnier. Still an excellent month, one not to forget.

I could literally echo this word for word.

I do feel as if we could of done with a few more warm days (a lot of Septembers these days often have a spell of even hot days with temps well into the late 20s, we lacked anything on that level this time) - but other than that the variety on offer was absolutely fantastic, it was definitely a September to remember for me. The first northerly blast around the 2nd week, it brought the slightest touch of frost for me - this may be the earliest frost I've recorded in my lifetime.

Summer8906 did you miss out on the warm spell during the first week? That spell was glorious here. It didn’t have the unbearable humid element that the Septembers of 2016, 2021 and 2023 had as well as plenty of unbroken sunshine and still nights that were relatively cool.
