I would still expect Thursday's snow to head South. We didn't see south corrections about last night/today's snow until pretty short notice so I'd expect the same to happen and South corrections to begin for Thursday in the next couple runs, hope I'm wrong though!

After today's surprise snowfall (imby), i'm not convinced it's worth taking much notice of computer charts or even forecasts a couple of days out.

Actually, park that....

Wait until 'the day'😁

Methuselah and other models actually support a low of 930s mb too!

I am inclined to agree that Thursday's snow will probably head to our south, but it is the hope that kills you! About 45-50% of members from GEFS 6z has falling snow for IMBY (Bristol) Thursday evening. It's really quite an intricate evolution for Thursday, so all solutions are definitely still on the table.

SiGh Eh I’m not in the north or near the coast so unless the North Sea does some 1 in 1000 chance hocus pocus, I need to rely on weather systems under a northerly

Saturday looks extremely wet, models showing 50-70mm less than 24 hours for me😨 it's already flooded here from the past few days

Locking this one now, as we're past the event. Please had back to the other general threads - we'll start a fresh thread for other events and potential events as they come up.

EDIT: Here's a new thread to chat and post pics about the ongoing snow risk this week:
