We had a good fall of snow last night. More than I was expecting a good 6 inches or slightly more. Kirkby in ashfield, Mansfield

Jacob a straw to perhaps clutch too is harmonie on a few runs has had a feature running in to southwest england and along the coast effecting some parts of the south east . The UKMO and ECM has showed this too on previous runs , most though take the feature in to france .

Definitely an ongoing snow risk across much of Northern Scotland. There's already been an extra 3 inches of fresh snow here in Aberdeenshire this evening on top of what was already there. There's met warnings of further continued heavy showers through until tomorrow evening.

HarvSlugger  It was, but only because it showed the Southerly extent of the snow the best, and we need North corrections for Thursday so I'm skeptical, maybe we want the UKV showing snow this time!

I remember Atlantic 252 I like hearing Cheshire Gap potential. I don't recall which year it was, (but it was post my joining this forum by probably a couple of years at least) but we had a lovely covering of snow here in NE Hants that was flowed directly from the Cheshire Gap. So it gets me just as much interested as does a Thames Streamer 😁

 HarvSlugger

In terms of precip, the 21Z, 18Z and 15Z, are identical on the UKV.

But we know you're not fond of that model, so I suggest you ignore it.  😁
