Clear and cold overnight, widespread moderate frost. Clear and frosty this morning.

Yesterday.

 

Clear at first last evening, ground frost forming. The frost lifted as cloud increased and thickened to produce light to moderate rain through the early hours. Overcast this morning, light to moderate rain. The rain stopped after mid morning and turning brighter towards noon. The afternoon, dry with sunny spells.

Can someone please explain to me why the “Friday” tab/header on the MetO forecast shows a low of 7C, whereas the hourly forecast data shows 9 or 10 hours at 4-5C. Happens every day! I suspect there is a logical explanation - can someone enlighten me please?

 IanT I guess that's why it's a beta. It a bit like the present one where put a warning up for severe weather but the forecast is for dry sunny weather. 

It's pretty poor really and something which isn't really professional and something they should look into.

This will need moving into another thread dunno which one though.
