Climate change. Do long rainfall records show anything?

Actually, that is the 2nd time I have lost carefully thought out text in a post I was preparing.  Possibly something to do with a mod having to approve it in a new topic?  Really annoying.

The gauges were all standard manually read Met O MkII daily gauges.   Two of the 3 stations (nos 2 and 3 - 1978-2014) were operated by myself.  The first one not faraway 1956-84 was an older citizen with an official station.  Altitudes 57-88m.
