Hi, I recently got the Wolfang GA440, which is a great action camera, but I am looking for something maybe a little nicer, to timelapse/photograph storms. I would still use the Wolfang, but I feel a DSLR camera would make my storm chasing days a bit nicer!

Any thoughts? I'm willing to stretch my budget slightly if necessary.

Thanks.

Liamkaboom What is your budget? As you mention DSLR, as opposed to mirrorless, you have a huge collection of used cameras, lenses, batteries and accessories to pick from. These are likely to be some what cheaper than mirrorless options, but a great place to start browsing is mpb.com. I'd say buy used, you can get some big savings and with something that will do a perfectly fine job.

Edit: Sorry, just noticed your £100 budget. You might be a bit limited if you do require a body, lens, spare batteries and possibly an intervalometer for timelapses.

Most mid - top range mobile phones released in the last few years are very good for timelapses, my Samsung S22 released at the start of 2022 is great, newer phones probably even a little better. They're quite expensive but if you have one, put it to use!
