Early drizzle on the warm front then a sunny hour, up to 14c!!

Now sunny spells but much cloudier and a freshening NW wind.

Cleared up now. Had a drizzle downburst before as tends to happen in the SE of Liverpool (get drizzle rather than rain) due to the topography of the land and the shape of the Mersey Estuary.

temperatures dropped dramtically through clearance was 13C at 11.15am - 10C now at 12:27pm

Distinct wind chill, very cold NNW wind. The slight westerly component to the wind direction seems to be generating some shower activity out in the Irish Sea, but for the moment it's staying off the coast.

Temperatures are around 7C, so I doubt that any showers would fall as anything other than rain, or perhaps hail.

There was a light rain shower about half an hour ago.

Strangely, it seemed to develop over the Lake District and come over, rather than from the Irish Sea.

A very blustery late afternoon here - kept funnelling up narrow Boston streets! Gusts were at the strength of the sort that make you swallow semi-involuntarily.. if you know what I mean!

Had a neat cold front passing at 1630.

I was outside down at the football club and had a great view of it get very dark, then clear behind this very black CB which gave a 30 sec downpour, sudden gust of wind and a noticable drop in the temperature over the next 15 minutes.

Temp now is 6c, brisk N wind and starry skies :D
