The snow in Lancaster seems to have died out, as the clearer air is starting to nudge towards us.

Not that I see that as a bad thing. If it could stay dry until about 3am, and then have a juicy polar low hit, then there could be some interest.

Update at 1900 hrs

Been clear and crisp sunshine all day, the early clouds lifted about 10am.

Current temeperature is ms1.5'C, Strange though as top temperature during day light was 0.9'C and it fell to ms3.5'C around 5pm and has warmed slightly over the last hour or so.

Pressure - 1016 mb, steady all day.

Wind - 6 mph (NW)

Humidity - 40%

Still no snow, although all the hills around us are white, but the snow line is still about 1000 ft.

Hi Paul G

you should be a weather forecaster with that info and insight. How come you never told us all to expect this lot?
