A tropical 3.6c. Waiting for this front to come through to see if we get any snow. I fear that we won't though.

Pete,

Could you please go away and let me live in the coldest place? You're spoiling my fun.

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

Now now Oz, you can't live in the coldest AND wettest place can you? :)

Clear, calm and frosty here. Temperature has slowly ebbed away to -2.9ºC. Interesting to note that Teeside Airport, only 9 miles SE of me, is reporting -6ºC! It is very open and flat land there though.

For anybody waiting for the rain band, I've just driven from Nottingham to Reading and can give a bit of an update.

Thin-high cloud from Nottingham as far as Daventry. Moon visible, but blurred. Temperature rose from just below freezing in Nottingham city centre to 2.5oc in Daventry. From Daventry to Banbury, cloud thickening, signs of precipitation by the M40. Temperature 3.5oc.

High Wycombe, recent rain, temperature 3.5.

Now back in Reading where it's been raining/drizzling all day, temperature currently at 3.5oc.

Technically it's still Saturday.. Probably not by the time I finish typing this though

Alness, Highland

The curent temperature is ms-6.1'C, that's the coldest I've had the season

The top temperature throughout the day was ms0.2'C.. no good for standing watching football :) and we got beat :)

There is some thin high clouds, (Im not clever enogh to know their names, thats my next mission) so maybe there is indications that changes are about to happen.

The pressure has been pretty stable all day around 1024 mb
