Thick moderate snow here. Mainly small and medium sized flakes but lots of them. Is starting to settle well on cars, roofs and grass.

EDIT: snow has just become quite heavy and settling on most surfaces.

Snow now very heavy and thick. Large flakes. A general covering of 2cm and it is now starting to cover minor roads and pavements.

We have had wet snow here most of the morning with temps around 2.2-2.4c. It has attempted to lie, but ground is too wet. This is quite a local event as I have been reliably informed that 6 miles away in Southampton it has breen rain all morning! By the sounds of it I have more to come!

Here in Swindon, there was 'wet' snow earlier, now at 11.45am it is actually snowing big flakes but as the ground is wet no settling is occurring. :(

Had moderate wet snow here for a couple of hours now. It's only in the last few minutes the snow has got heavier and is almost settling. The temp has been hovering around 1.5C.
