It was cloudy, but still vastly different to what I got used to during November. Altocumulus clouds, some patches of blue sky, and an amazing sunset.

Been foggy here all day. Visibility only a few hundred metres. 3C, but feels colder.

Hearing about a lot of minor travel accidents coz of the fog. Maybe worth issuing an alert due to the hazardous WX here and in general, Central Scotland.

Yep, Scott..seems to be getting worse. The latest AA pages have quite a few reports of "shunts"..

Just listening to my Airband scanner at the moment. Both Edinburgh and Glasgow airports have big delays with arrivals due to the fog. Many holding in the sky above..one had to go and divert to Newcastle as he was low on fuel...scary.. :blink:
