Very cold and now getting misty, dull/grey since late morning.

i can't quite believe how cold it has been in south london all day. about 30 mins ago i drove from work in dulwich to get some lunch, my car thermometer was reading 1.5oC usually reliable too (to nearest 0.5oC)

feeling bitterly chilly, but dead still. low cloud has shrouded us and i've been waiting for the sun to break through all day, but it just hasn't happened. feeling very wintry, nice little bonus :lol: attend of the evil mild over the next 2 days

Yes it has been colder than forecast today

Even though the sun shone for a few hours this afternoon the temp got no higher than 4c when 7c was forecast!

It's currently clear, starry, calm and between 1-2c so a frost almost certain if it stays clear :lol:
