I quess by the amount of post coming in this morning that there must be some pretty horrid hangovers out there only makes me glad that I can't drink now those bad morning are now just memories and not happy ones either.

Well lets see what 2005 has in store for us weather wise and let us all remember those who lost their lives to the Weather in all the tragadies of 2004. what ever you belive in say a prayer for all the people who have lost loved ones in Asia. And may your God go with you.

Yip, the new year has started with heavy rain, a bit of a breeze, but it is also a lot coller than it was the last couple of days... but they do forecast snow for us tonight !!

Seems some parts of Northern Ireland are having their first thunder and lightening of 2005 already!!

My first posting!! Clear til 12.15pm with occassional sunny breaks. Darkened very quickly from SW. Within 15mins began raining - very heavy with hail for 20mins then eased to moderate. 7 lightning strikes in this period. Cleared 1.45. Clouds gathering now (2.40pm) - blustery shwrs on the way. Marked temp drop - at 11.45 it was 9.3C, by 2pm had dropped to 5.1C.

Stormy!

It kicked in recently, it is currently lashing it down with rain and there is one hell of a gale blowing out there.

It is also pitch black.

I would not be surprised to hear reports of tornadoes today.
