    wind 270 deg 20knots gust 31 knots 5km in slight snow with broken cloud(5-7/8 cloud cover) at 1200 feet. Temp PS03 dewpoint Ps01 pressure 1003 mb.

    Short shower of 3-5mm hail at 2030, this turned to sleet as it ended. Temp' now 3.5c.

    That's really wierd, no thunder, but it looks like it has been snowing, clumps of white on the grass. Cool, didn't even notice it snowing!

    Snowing in South Tyneside- it fell from 5.5C to 2.1C in just five minutes here!

    Which has now turned to snow. Could be in for an interesting night. I think it could also be the first snow I have seen in my location this winter.

    i hope it makes it inland to rochdale.we are higher up so it might be better. :rolleyes: but i can't imagine it will get here...relatively clear skies but the wind has picked up again.

    Sonwing on and off in South Tyneside but not settling- here's hoping the snow showers keep coming over the Pennines during the early hours of tomorrow morning, for by that time it should be cold enough to settle.

    Snowing here in Hexham Northumberland at about 180m asl. Temp now 0.3 C. Only a dusting so far but heavy showers over the last hour or 2 and temps falling.

    Hoping to get the sledge out?!?!

    Snow showers started about 18:30 in Aviemore - Now Near Tomintoul and heavy frequent snow showers with drifting in the strong wnw wind. Was wet snow at first but now below freezing and any slush has frozen , Cant give a depth as too blowy! Looks like a trough moving into the west on the radar too ! let it snow let it .......
