Horrendous. 52mm of rain since 9pm yesterday. Wind gusting to 45mph (whatever that equates to in reality) and village almost cut-off! 9.7º, so at least it's mild.

Pressure reading 988mb - is that low?

I'll take some pictures later.

988 mb is quite low, is that corrected to sea level? If it is then there's a very steep pressure gradient north/south as my reading is around 1012mb.

Its still dark grey and gloomy with light showers. I have got another one of my snowy head aches wish it was a bit closer to when it was going to snow so it could be a week or two weeks before it happens only wished I could find out what causes the head aches has I said before my Grandma used to get them my daughter does and now it looks like my grandson has got this horrible gift too. so please bring on the snow quick.

Dubai Floods: Another Warning Sign for Desert Regions?

The flooding in the Middle East desert city of Dubai earlier in the week followed record-breaking rainfall.
