Being raining Very heavily for all day now, concerned about flooding now, large "lake" like puddles have appeared may be time for the sandbags :D

Just editing to say if you look at the met-office radar and go through the 6 hours of runs you will see why floodings almost certain here :(

sure sounds windy!! howling through the windows and husband just sent txt on way home from Ronaldsway saying Man! its windy! also still trees and branches lying in the roads from friday/saturday. local meto predicts bf 8-9 possibly storm force 10 over night on tuesday into wednesday!! more damage on the way! arhrhghh wish i could tie down the loose flue on my roof! even people still with no power here on isle of man and couple of shelters opened for them by civil defence. electricity company are covering their backs and saying that the homes may not be reconnected until end of week!! but personally glad i dont live in cumbria anymore, heart goes out to them.

god bless all of us in this stormy time and always

14.0C at 1am in the morning in themiddle of winter, a foehn effect pushing temps up here, classic foehn situation, like the previous post said - remarkable, I am only 5C off my summer maximum average!
