first 10 days of Jan here give a mean of 7.8C, way above the long term for this area of 3.5C. The last 5 days gave even higher at 8.7C; this one would be acceptable in April!!

It is extremly rare to have fog at Adriatiac sea and coast. Last 14 day the very strong and static High dominated the "scene". As a result, a fog appeared in nothern and parts of central Adriatics. And it's very unique shaped!

well its a different story from this morning, see below, 'shepherds warning' is that the saying. Now slight rain, 15-20mph wind, barometer falling quickly, still fairly mild at 12C

Recent gust of 74mph at Dublin Airport (nearby to my location) and 94mph at Belmullet!

It's turned out to be a lovely sunny day here - if a little breezy! Just hope the showers out to the west produce someting 'nice' when they eventually arrive here.
