No snow here yet but just had a short but heavy shower of hail at 1900.

Just driven home through some sleety rain. The car lights were catching the sleet as it fell towards my car and left lovely icy bits on my windscreen :D

Near Falkirk, the snowshowers have continued and the roads have fell silent of the hiss you get when it is wet.Good covering now and temp.at 0c.The Westerly aspect and coldness of the air should make the Forth Clyde valley an easy target for a good few inches tonight. :D

My first snow of this winter!! :D:D Quite heavy now in Edinburgh (Holyrood) @ 2000Z

Also sleet @ 1515Z and wet snow @1700 out at the Gyle.

None of it is lying yet but if the temps go down much the wet ground is going to be very icy (dangerous) tomorrow morning :D

hopefully when the next shower comes it might have something for me.

Here we go then- a very brief one, admittedly, but we had a sleet shower for about 30 seconds in Lancaster.

Hard to believe J@mmie!

I'm only along the road from you, and we only got 0.5cms on ground.

Cumbernauld has always had it's own weather system! :D Give us some, please? :D:D

Another heavy snow shower @ 2015Z. What was a good covering on the ground is now being washed away by rain/sleet :D:D:D

I reckon you've got a snow machine installed where you stay, and it's on full power at the moment :D:D

We've had constant snow, but it's not big flakes...maybe 0.75cms now :D
