hail storm then sleet now...not lasted all that long

and now its like a blizzard :rolleyes: ..but looking at the radars i know it will amount to nothing

Near Falkirk the snowfall has stopped but temps.are now lowered such that no thawing is possible.Seems like an over-estimated drama was forecast, at least for Central Scotland.Why these errors occur when the satellite photos are there for the experts to analyise is beyond me.Perhaps some of the showery activity moving toward the country is not actually showers? I saw the charts on the BBC forecast and showers were clearly visible...but where did they go?Possibly to bed :rolleyes:

Fallon, we have all night for snow? (and tommorrow morning) so dont worry just because you dont have a lot :rolleyes:

Just stopped snowing here now, a pretty decent band of snow heading this way by the looks of it.

MOderate burts of snow beginning now, typical that the snow from the last shower had just melted..

I dont understand mate here in Glasgow I have now 4 inches! and its getting deeper with frequent snow showers! Am I the only one thats getting deep snow :D :o

very fine snow giving a coating on cars,blizzard ish conditions,rather unexpected considering what the radar shows coming over the sea.

Just starting to snow again lightly, looking at the radar it may not stop for an nour or 2. Hope i'm right..

Has been heavy snow on and off here since around 20:00. About 2-3cm covering everything, clearing skies and temp has dropped to -2C.
