It was just very very gusty here and it tried to sleet. Very light drizzley stuff but it was still precipitating wet white stuff to be sure!!!

Im looking forward to tonight, the BBC are looking to cock things up again but we are all used to it... :)

Just had a squally sleet shower - winds picked up practically out of nowhere, causing the sleet to drive horizontally :)

Just had a very squally rain shower, with a little hail and sleet at the end...sky went very dark, but due to fast moving wind, moved off after a few minutes and has now returned to sunshine....

Just had hail/sleet and snow blustery shower. Surprised there was no thunder. Verticle precipitation, must have been gusting around 50/60mph mark, it gave almost blizzard conditions!! Wasnt expecting any snow till tomorrow.

We played football at Corsham (about 10 miles S of M4) this afternoon.

There were torrential rain and hailstorms at 1430,1530 and 1630 each lasting about 20 minutes. The wind was incredible and the rain/hail literally sheeted across the ground :) The match was almost abandonned but thankfully the storm blew away. Some great cloud structures :)

In between it was clear, sunny and hardly even breezy!

Evening all,

we have had two sleet events today the first was at arount 3pm this afternoon this was short lived as the wind strength pushed the shower throught, the second sleet event was longer and was around 5.30-6.00 time longer sleet shower this time but cleared away to leave a clear sky.

Very loosely defined sleety shower here a few mins ago, quite heavy with the gusty winds, but hail also mixed in. Hopefully they will get more wintry overnight. :)
