A couple of light hail and snow showers here overnight, giving a slight dusting.

At 8.55am we had light snow shower here in Essex, melted instantly on contact with surfaces, roll on this weekend!

Overnight down to minus 5c here and there was a dusting of snow grains sometime during the night.

Clear blue sky since dawn, virtually no wind temp is 1c

there are spits and spots all over s/se. there were a couple of sleety drops earlier here in dulwich, s london when i was driving around about 1030. literally though, just a couple, does not qualify for the league as a shower. if you strain very hard at the avbrief radar you can pick up these faint echoes.

Had a couple of flurries of snow grains in Dover this morning, roof was white for a bit.
