Snow/wintry Precipitation Reports: 20th February

Wind has just picked up and small flakes of snow falling

Just stopped snowing yet again (not rubbing it in am I ? )

Currently 1.9c, so a lot of the snow has melted from roads etc but still have a lot on the grass.

I'll try again to upload the piccies

very brief fall of soft hail about 5 mins ago and nothing great on radar at the moment - looking forward to tonight as I feel when that winds swings around a little more to the E then the showers will barrell down the N EC.

Very light flurry about 30 mins ago, darker, thick cloud now building to my n/ne over barnsley and doncaster and I can clearly see snow falling from these as Im quite high up. 15 miles away and counting..

we had a heavy hail shower around 3.30 this afternoon but the cloud is getting darker and denser as the evening rolls on

I had few snow flurries this morning and this afternoon. As Luton Observation said its getter darker and denser to my North.

No snow on ground yet.

Edit: I am having hail, sleet with a bit of light snow at the moment.

Had to post that we had a brief (no longer than a minute) of very light snow pellets (Or as I call them, ickle hail :blink: ).

Still, its something, and have been waiting all day to post on here.

Strange though. No shower activity on the radar. But as I said, it was small and brief :blink:

its just starting to lightly snow in derby =D more like sleet atm but none the less

Snowing on and off for past 2 hours but nothing settling, everything is wet now :-(

Hopefully those heavier showers will just come south a bit more then i might get a covering,,,,

Oh and the lamp outside my house isn't working tonight, all the rest are except this one!!!!! mmmmmmmmmmmm????

Maybe it's a blessing as i might be able to sleep tonight instead of lamp watching, hehehehehehehehe

Had two snow/sleet/hail wintry showers this afternoon. It really was a mix of everything!
