Steady Snow here for the past 15 mins - approx 1.5 CM laying....

After brief restbite,now snowing again,I've got about 3-4cms I reckon now,although over the pavements and roads its melted,which is bad news as ice can only follow...

4 snow showers in Hereford, very roughly around 2/3 pm. First one very heavy with massive flakes lasting 20ish minutes. Other three lasted about 5 minutes.

Countless snow showers here in reading. A 10 minute ice blizzard then mostly a thaw and clear skies.

Now very cloudy again with light snowflurries.

in Watford still no lying snow which seems to have hit North London. Only a tiny amount on roofs and slight dusting on the grass. It sounds like there is significant snowfall in the north london suburbs.

At last- okay, it was only a 30 second flurry, but I actually got some fine powdery snow in Lancaster, which settled a little on some of the car roofs.

Thunder and lightning and heavy snow here now,four flashes of lightning from this particular shower.

Brief hail/sleet shower here in Aberdeen about half an hour ago.

Most of the snow has gone though and being on the coast, prospects for tonight are not too good with an easterly wind I think.

right I've measured and I've got just under 4cms,great stuff,every now and again a light flurry comes along although its been dry for about 40 mins now.

it's the first decent fall we've had here in this current spell. getting heavier as i type and starting to settle on paths and road

several blizzard conditions throughout the day , noticble snow at 4:30 left 3 cms of snow and was very dry powdery snow!! snow showers through this evening hopefully more tonight!
