Woke up to 2 cm of snow this morning, nearly all melted, a few heavy afternoon showers have left a very light dusting again.

Over the hills and higher parts there is more of a covering left after about 6 cm fell during the night.

First 2 pictures are from work at 8 am this morning with 6 cm of snow.

The 3rd picture is from outside my house at 7.30am with 2cm of snow.

As before, light snow showers replenishing the grass cover.

Icy on roads now.

A few snow shower throughout the day, but mostly a gentle thawing of any lying snow overnight. A few intermittant light flurries so far this evening. Forecast looking good for early hours/into tomorrow.

Still snowing in northern herefordshire. Surprising really considering how far west we are. Partial covering becoming more of a heavier covering now. Pavements roads and grass almost completely covered.

Heavy snow AGAIN in newark, the streamer looks set to hit me, and these showers are adding up nicely, and becoming more frequent!
