Snow/wintry Precipitation Reports: 23rd February

Have had snow showers all night running down the Essex Coast, a very big shower between 630am and 830am has left about 2-3 cm's and it has started snowing again now, looks like these showers are very juicy.

Just stopped snowing here and the sun has come out for a bit, Doh! But we have around 7-8cm lying on the ground. More to come soon hopefully, I just hope the sun doesn't melt it first.

woke up to haevy snow,only settled on cars,pavements now thawing turning in to slush,black ice,winter has arrived,had a light dusting,the road are very icy,dangerous in places,very slushy.

Not even a dusting this morning. The best I can do, Is to drive through two showers on the way into work.

A band of moderate snow showers moved across this area this morning between 0715 and 0845 giving another 3.5cm.

Average depth is now 6.2cm.

Woke up this morning (7am) with 4cm on ground.

Been snowing on and off since 7am, hopefully there will be a lot more to come.

it has now stopped snowing and only left a dusting(begining to melt) but the strange thing is when it was snowing the sun was out and there was no clouds above! started to cloud over again now so we will have to wait and see if it brings more snow as @ the moment i think harlow are behind as we have only had little amounts at a time then they melt after a while

Thunderstrike I keep getting whiteout 30-40mins after you report it.

4-5inches here in faversham and complete whiteout, 0c. apparently roads in canterbury not gritted, very bad.

Off to the Creek in faversham, should be some great photos!!!!!

Woke up to covering of up to an inch on top of cars. couple of cm elsewhere. Moderate/heavyish snow showers on and off and called a snow day and now home again..... woo hoo!!!

We had bout 3cm over night and a rather large shower this mornin. Snowing agen now woohoo!! Rather heavy should get another cm or so depending on how long it lasts!!
