I've 5 snow showers, two of them in the heavy category, 1 of those a blizzard which gave a temporary light dusting because most of it melted on contact with teh ground.

Wow, another heavy shower to my NE, looks like a beast, make that 6 showers now.... :(

We've had two light showers earlier (pics in the pics thread). Now in a heavier and longer shower - it's been going at various intensities for about 15 minutes now. Still too warm to settle.

All sorts of snow here today

-A dusting on the ground 1st thing, thawed by 1030

-Tiny flurries/grains most of the morning

-Proper snow shower about 1230

-Heavy graupel/soft hail around 1300, settled then thawed

-Further flurries of large flakes since

Some massive CBs to the North :(

Just had a heavy snow shower here in Sheffield. Began as hail/sleet mix then became snow. Has given a new covering of about 0.5 cm to pavements. (Grass is already covered from snow this morning). Covering is now melting due to sun having come out. We have gone from an almost white out to blue sky in 10 mins!

Had another snow show at 1415 but this did not settle.

Heavy snowfall overnight left around 7-8CM on car which needed to be scraped off. Very powdery stuff.

Roads a disgrace with snow cover all the way to Faversham, including the A2.

Heavy hour long snow shower mid-morning in Faversham.

Light afternoon shower.

Drove home just recently in what started off at rain in Fav, then sleet and then heavy Snow all the way back to Canterbury.

We had around two inches this morning, and had another topup before dinner. Sadly afternoon light showers have melted most, but still a few cm's on grass and some concrete, paths. :)
