The narrow frontal band over Southern England gave us some heavy snow for 15 minutes at 0730-0745! Massive fat flakes and a quick 1cm covering.

This turned to sleet and has almost all melted now with temps up to 2c.

Must have had a little bit of snow overnight, it is Saturday now, but they do not yet have a report for that date. Anyways, 1c here now, chilly and wet with a dusting of snowy looking stuff on the decking.

A dusting of snow on the pavements and on the minor roads this morning, very nice to see, the first decent settling of snow this cold spell :o

With temperatures dropping to -4ºc earlier on in the night, it's not hard to see why the snow did settle Slippery underfoot as well. It was however odd to see a snow covering on the pavements with barely any on the grass.

Woke up around 6.45 and it was snowing and proably had been for sometime because there was a thin layer everywhere, roofs were white etc.

Went back to sleep and awoke 15 minutes ago and its all melted.

Woke up to the fourth light dusting of the past week this morning and it was also snowing with some nice fat flakes at 7.45am. However, it was already starting to melt on teh roof so I went up my hill which is about about 20 mins walk from my house and 200 feet higher up and enjoyed a 5 min spell of moderate snow up there which added a little to the dusting. Back home I found it had turned to rain and sleet and was 2c when I got back at 9.30am. Right place at the right time :o

Occassional showers of sleet here this afternoon... very overcast... forecasted to turn to snow overnight. As for last weeks snow, only the snowmen are left standing and a few of their heads have fallen off.

Just had a heavy hail/snow shower. Temperature 0.8C - started to lie but ground too warm for it to hang around for the night. Shower was really heavy and accompanied by very strong gusts of wind.

A bit late, I've been away because of the Rallye Sunseeker but there was snow overnight (Fri-Sat) which left a dusting this morning :D (7 am)

Also 2 snow showers this morning, didn't settle. Snow had all melted by 9am I would guestimate.
