I have no idea what the temp is at the moment, but a nearby pond is still frozen over. I recorded a low of -8.2C in the early hours of this morning. Been sunny all day so far and it looks like this is set to continue throughout the rest of today.

-8.2C in Basingstoke? That's pretty remarkable considering the minimum recorded was approx. -9C. Basingstoke wouldn't have struck me as one of the more notorious frost hollows in the south. Still, if that's what you recorded!
