Actually heavy dry snow with a partial covering (which is melting quickly)

Light dusting this morning - not melting yet. Has just begun to snow again, very lightly. Nothing measurable yet.

we had snow sometime between 1am and 7am this morning here in morecambe bay. and as it had settled i took the opertunity to see how close to the coast the snow had reached, and was suprised to see isolated patches on the sand at half moon bay heysham. 5 miles west of lancaster.

Steady light snow since about 0700 in Stratosside: it just never seems to stop snowing here. Interesting watching this appear out of nowhere on the radar.

Genuine streamer over Kent. Snow band can't be more than 20 miles wide.

Here in North Bristol, we had a 1 hour period of light snow from 4am to 5am. (Wouldn't normally be up at that time, but my son was ill).

This 1 cm of snow was topped up by another period of light snow from 8am to 10am.

No more than 2 cm of lying snow in total.

Gradually thawing already in a temperature of 0.8 C.

Got about 2cm of lying snow here from the blob of snow on the radar! A nice surprise when I woke up!

Just started to get a bit heavier in the last half hour & is beginning to settle on pavements. Looking at the radar though, I can't see it getting any heavier during this little snowy spell.

A dusting on the cars/grass last night, still not had anything on the pavements or road this winter though, I think we have under-road heating.

Another heavy dry snow shower, no snow settled though or indeed settling as it's still going on

So the snow I was waiting for overnight edged about 5 miles West apparantly <_<

The sky is very cloudy towards Bristol and I expect it's associated with the snow there's been there today.

Here very odd, unbroken hazy sunshine and the odd snowflake drifting down. I expect I've seen about 50 flakes in the last 2 hours. I've been to Trowbridge 5 miles away and the conditions are identical. Very weird B)
