WARNING- Heavy Rain and Gales for Scotland and N Ireland

Tonight – Overnight a band of heavy rain will sweep from the NW across much of the country, The rain will effect N Ireland, Scotland and NW England around midnight and push SW to effect Wales, N England, the Midlands and SW England by morning, Some very heavy bursts of rain are expected with gusts of 60mph possible in N Ireland and W Scotland. The Far SE of England may stay dry, Temps 12-15 across the UK.

Tomorrow morning – Rain for N England, the Midlands, Northern E Anglia, SW England and Wales, with gusty winds over exposed coastal areas. Cloudy but dry in the far SE. Brighter with showers in Scotland and N Ireland, however some gale force winds are possible, with Severe Gales possible for the Western Isles

Tomorrow afternoon - The rain will steadily push further SE, so that by late afternoon, only SE England should be effected by the rain, The rest of the UK, have a mixture of sunny intervals and blustery showers, with gales still likely for NW areas, Temps 14-18 in Scotland, 18 in N Ireland, and 17-20 over England and Wales.

Thursday – Some rain is possible in the SE for a time, but most places will have a mixture of sunshine and showers , Temps 13-17 in N Ireland and Scotland, 19-20 over England and Wales.

Friday and Saturday (summary) – A Mixture of sunshine and Showers Temps 17-21c.

Summary – Blustery Showers Tonight

Tonight – The rain may linger for a time in the far SE, but most will have a mixture of sunny then clear spells and showers, During the night bands of showers may develop, Temps 8-10c in Scotland, 11-13 over England and Wales.

Tomorrow – Western Scotland and N Ireland will have a blustery day with heavy showers at times, but with the odd sunny interval, Further East in E Scotland, less showers are likely, and more sunny Spells, Temps 14-17 in Scotland, 16c in N Ireland.

England and Wales will start mainly sunny but there will be more cloud In NW England, W Wales and SW England. The afternoon is likely to be a mix of Sunshine and Showers with SW England is likely to see bands of showers, while other western areas are likely to have frequent showers and less sunnier spells.

During the afternoon generally it will turn cloudier over England and Wales, and some showers could affect more central and Eastern areas, including the Test Match as Trent Bridge where the odd delay is possible. However generally the further East, the less showers and the longer the spells of sunshine. Temps 18-20c

Friday – Rain in N Ireland and Scotland, Drier further South, more cloud in Western areas, with the best of the sunshine in the East, Temps 13-18 in Scotland, 16 in N Ireland, 19-21 over England and Wales.

Saturday – A Mixture of Sunshine and Showers, with the best of the sun in the SE, Temps 13-17 in Scotland, 18 in N Ireland, 19-21 over England and Wales.

Sunday – More rain in N Ireland and Scotland, Showers and Sunny intervals in England and Wales Temps 15-19 in Scotland, 22 in N Ireland, 21-25 over England and Wales.

Summary – Heavy Showers Tonight

Tonight – Showers for a time in the evening, but largely they will die out with some clear spells for Eastern areas, Temps 7-9c in Scotland, 10-12 over England and Wales.

Tomorrow – Western Scotland and N Ireland will have a blustery day with some persistent showery rain, much of it will be light, but sunshine is set to be in short supply, brighter and drier in E Scotland. Temps 14-17 in Scotland, 16c in N Ireland.

Eastern areas are set to largely dry and bright in the morning, but there will always be more cloud in the West. During the afternoon, more showers are likely to affect NW England and N Wales, while areas further south and East are likely to have a mixture of sunny intervals and sharp showers, Tamps 17-21c.

Saturday – Generally cloudy for N England, the Midlands, Scotland, N Ireland and N Wales, with the odd shower. It will tend to be drier and brighter for Southern England and S Wales, Temps 16-18c in Scotland, 19-23 over England and Wales.

Sunday – More rain in N Ireland and Scotland, Drier further South, with the best of the sunshine the further SE you go. Temps 16-19c in Scotland, 21-26 over England and Wales.

Monday – A Ribbon of cloud and rain effecting S Scotland, N Ireland and NE England with drier weather elsewhere and brighter in parts of N Scotland and SE England. Temps 14-21c in Scotland, 22-26 over England and Wales.

Summary – Warmer Weekend

Tonight – Showery in places especially in areas exposed to the SW, drier in the East, and clear spells possible in C and SE England and NE Scotland, Temps 7-10c in Scotland, 10-13 in England and Wales.

Tomorrow – Generally bright in SE areas, but showery over the S coast of England, West Country, South Wales, and the S Midlands. Bright in N Wales, N Midlands and E Anglia, N England and N Ireland with brighter spells. Heavy showers are set to affect W Scotland and these will push across to E Scotland during the day. Temps 14-17 in Scotland, 18c in N Ireland, 19-21c in England and Wales.

A Synoptic chart shows SW winds streaming in from the Atlantic for Southern areas, SW winds effecting N areas, but turning to the NW associated with a cold front and a low pressure system lying to the NW of Scotland, set to being Rain for Northern areas on Sunday.

Sunday – Gales in Scotland, with Severe Gales possible on mountains, Heavy Rain is likely or Scotland and N Ireland, Temps 16-21c.

N England and much of Wales is set to be cloudy and dry, while Southern England is to be bright / Sunny, Temps 19-24 over England and Wales.

Monday – As the cold front pushes South it is set to decay but could give a lot of cloud to Southern areas, it will brighten up in N Scotland later, Dry in most areas, Temps 14-22c in Scotland, 22-26 over England and Wales.

Summary – Mostly Dry and Warm

Tonight – Sunny in the SE this evening, Bright over most northern parts, but remaining cloudy over Wales, the Midlands running into East Anglia due to the remains of an old weather front. Overnight, the cloudy band will remain and most other spots, will have some clear spells, Temps 7-11 in Scotland, 10 in N Ireland, 8-16 over England and Wales.

Tomorrow - Southern parts of England will have a very warm sunny day. The cloud band over Wales, the Midlands and into N East Anglia will fragment during the day, and most places here will be sunny by the afternoon. Northern England will start sunny but will have variable cloud in the afternoon, While N Ireland and Scotland will have variable cloud for much of the day, Temps 16-17 in Scotland, 19c in N Ireland, 21-27c in England and Wales

Wednesday – Further rain for N Ireland and W Scotland due to an advancing weather front from the West, England and Wales will have a dry day, but there will be a clot of cloud, in the west at first but spreading to all parts during the afternoon, Tamps 18-21 in N Ireland and Scotland, 24-29 over England and Wales, so a humid oppressive day is possible in the SE.

Thursday - Cloudy with some showers, Temps 14-18 in N Ireland and Scotland, 21-24 over England and Wales.

Friday – More showers are possible, but better brighter spells are possible than on Thursday, Temps 16-20 over N Ireland and Scotland, 20- 24 over England and Wales.

Summary – Hot and Humid

Tonight – Clear over England and Wales, cloudy over N Ireland and Scotland, with some rain possible in NW Scotland, Temps 11-13 in Scotland, 14 in N Ireland, 14-18 over England and Wales.

Wednesday - Eastern England will have another hot, sunny and humid day. Wales, SW England and the West Country will start dry and sunny, but during the afternoon, some sharp showers may develop, although a few sunny spells are also possible. Temps 22-31c over England and Wales.

Scotland and N Ireland will start cloudy and some prolonged heavy and thundery showers are likely to develop in the morning, with some very heavy rain likely in Scotland. Temps 15-20c.

Tomorrow Night – The thundery showers will push further East across the UK, and some violent thunderstorms are possible in N England and E Scotland, with a risk of flooding due to the heavy localised rainfall.

Thursday – A Generally cloudier day with more thundery showers possible, Temps 14-18 in Scotland, 18 in N Ireland, 21-25 over England and Wales.

Friday – As High Pressure pushes over the UK, it will turn more settled and drier and some brighter sunnier spells are possible especially in the SE, Temps 15-18 in Scotland, 18 in N Ireland, 21-24 over England and Wales.

Warning - THUNDERY RAIN, Northern UK

Tonight – A Band of rain will push East across Scotland, N England and Eastern parts of Southern England this evening. The band of rain in the South is likely to give a short spell of rain, but for Scotland and NE England the rain will be very heavy and be prolonged, so there is a risk of localised flooding in places. Overnight, the rain is set to push away from Eastern areas, leaving a mainly dry night. Temps 10-15 in Scotland, 11 in N Ireland, 15-19 in England and Wales.

Tomorrow - Sunny Intervals in Scotland and N Ireland with the odd showers. Mainly Dry and Bright over N England for much of the day. A few showers in the morning in Wales and SW England but brighter and drier in the afternoon, with good sunny spells. The South Coast of England and SE England will start mainly dry and bright but more showers are likely to develop for the afternoon. Temps 14-17 in Scotland, 18 in N Ireland, 18-24c in England and Wales.

Friday - A Fine sunny day over much of the UK, as High Pressure takes control again. However there is the possibility of a few showers in Scotland, Temps 14-17 in Scotland, 20 in N Ireland, 19-23 over England and Wales.

Saturday -Another sunny day over much of the UK, but with more cloud later in N Ireland and Scotland, Temps 15-18 over Scotland, 17 in N Ireland, 17-25 in England and Wales.

Summary - Cool Night

Tonight – A few showers to start the night in East Anglia and also a few showers for W Scotland and N Ireland, so extra cloud here, but elsewhere, mainly dry and clear, with a few mist and fog patches, A cool night with some frost patches in sheltered spots, Temps 7-9 in Scotland, 7-13c in England and Wales, (But cooler in rural areas)

Tomorrow - Most places will be bright with long sunny spells, and only occasional cloudier spells. There again will be cloud in W Scotland and N Ireland with light showers possible here, Temps 14-17 in Scotland, 19 in N Ireland, 17-22 over England and Wales, but feeling pleasant with only light Southerly winds.

Saturday - Another sunny day over much of England and Wales with High Pressure dominating, but with more cloud bringing rain later in N Ireland and Scotland, Temps 15-21 over Scotland, 20 in N Ireland, 23-26 in England and Wales.

Sunday – Remaining dry and bright and maybe sunny in Eastern areas, but frontal cloud and rain moving into many Southern and Western areas during the day, Temps 15-21 in Scotland, 21 in N Ireland and 20-26 over England and Wales.

Summary - Sunny and Warm

Tonight – Clear this evening, a little more cloud developing in much of Central and SWE England overnight, with a little mist and fog, Temps 9-10 in Scotland, 11 in N Ireland, 11-15 over England and Wales, maybe a little colder again in sheltered Scottish glens.

Saturday - Another sunny day over much of Western England and Wales with High Pressure dominating, but with more cloud later in N Ireland and Scotland, there will also be more cloud to start the day in NE England, East Anglia and the South East of England, but most of this cloud should clear away by early afternoon. Temps 17-22 over Scotland, 20 in N Ireland, 20-25 in England and Wales. Light Southerly winds in the East, but winds turning fresh in the West with South Easterly winds of 25mph in SW England.

Sunday – Remaining dry and bright and maybe sunny in Eastern areas, but more cloud and thundery showers moving into N Ireland, W Scotland, Wales and much of W England. Some parts of the West may have some very heavy rain at times. Temps 18-22 in Scotland, 22 in N Ireland and 23-28 over England and Wales.

Tonight – Cloud over SE England with a few showers, but generally quite a few clear spells in places this evening. Overnight cloud will tend to thicken due to the moistness of the air, with mist and foggy spells developing in many areas especially in the East, the best clearer spells remain in Western area, A very muggy night with temps of 12-13 over Scotland, 11 in N Ireland, 14-16 in England and Wales.

Tomorrow - Many places cloudy tomorrow with the odd spot remaining misty and foggy for quite a while, with prone spots such as the Vale of York being most at risk, the brightest weather will be over Wales and N Ireland.

Into the afternoon, the sun will break though and most places will be bright or sunny but with the odd showers possible in S England and NW Scotland, Temps 16-21 in Scotland, 21 in N Ireland and 21-25 over England and Wales.

Wednesday – Rain will push into N Ireland and W Scotland, with another frontal system. Drier and brighter to start in Southern parts, but turning much cloudier in the west but staying dry, remaining sunny in SE parts. Temps 16-21 in Scotland, 17 in N Ireland and 21-25 over England and Wales.

Thursday - The weather front pushing S and E over the UK, and is set to effect Central parts of England and much of Wales during the day, Cloudier later in SE parts of England, Brightening up in Scotland later, Temps 14-17 in Scotland, 17 in N Ireland and 20-23 over England and Wales.

Tonight – Cloud to start this evening in the NW and SE England, with a few spots of rain possible in the NW, Generally Sunny then clear in between, Overnight more cloud will push into N England and much of Wales, with more mist and fog patches developing, Temps 12-14 over Scotland, 13 in N Ireland, 12-16 in England and Wales. Another muggy night is likely.

Tomorrow - Sunny over S England, EA Anglia and the Midlands, after early morning mist and fog has cleared. Generally much cloudier over Wales, NE England, Scotland, and N Ireland with a lot of cloud, and a few spots of rain possible in NW areas. Into the afternoon, not much changing, possibly the cloud edging a little further S and E, and the rain possible getting heavier in W Scotland, Temps 14-18 in Scotland, 18 in N Ireland and 19-25 over England and Wales.

Thursday - Drier and brighter in N Scotland with a little sunshine. Generally cloudy over much of the rest of the UK, with a weather front giving a little rain for Wales, the Midlands and into E Anglia, Temps 14-19 in Scotland, and 20-23 over England and Wales.

Friday -Sunny over N Scotland, cloudy over the rest of Scotland, N Ireland and N England, Heavy rain is likely due to a weather front over Wales, much of C and S England, though perhaps the far SE of England may remain dry. Temps 14-17 in Scotland, 16 in N Ireland and 16-22 over England and Wales.

Tonight – Rain in N Ireland and W Scotland, Drier in S England and Wales. During the night, the rain clearing from the North but turning damp over Wales and Western fringes of England, Temps 10-12 in Scotland, 12 in N Ireland and 13-16 over England and Wales.

Tomorrow - In the morning cloudy over N England, the Midlands, C England, Wales and SW England, with some dampness likely in some parts of Wales and SW England. N Ireland and Scotland will be bright but with the odd showers in Scotland, the best weather in S England, where it should be dry, with some brightness possible in the far SE if England and EW Anglia.

Into the afternoon, the dampness will remain in parts of Wales, and SW England but this will also affect the Midlands. S England will remain dry but the sunny areas will retreat to the far SE doing the afternoon.

Brightening up a little in S Scotland and N Ireland, with a mixture of cloud and sunshine in N Scotland, N England should remain dry but will be largely cloudy. Temps 12-17 in Scotland, 17 in N Ireland and 20-23 over England and Wales.

Friday - Wet over Wales, the Midlands, N England, S Scotland and N Ireland for much of the day, brighter in N Scotland. Dry but cloudy in the SE during the morning but, some heavy showers are set in during the afternoon. Temps 11-14 in Scotland, 17 in N Ireland and 21-24 over England and Wales.

However later in the afternoon, it may dry up in parts of E Wales and parts of the West Country. However N Scotland will be rather bright with sunny intervals, while S and SE England will be dry to start but some showers may push in later, Temps 12-15 in Scotland, 15 in N Ireland, 19-26 over England and Wales.

Saturday - A mixture of cloud and some showers, the showers could really occur anywhere, some sun in S England. Temps 12-18 in Scotland, 17 in N Ireland and 17-23 over England and Wales.

WARNING - Southern UK - Thunderstorms tonight

Tomorrow - Heavy rain and thundery outbreaks tonight effecting SE England, SW Wales and SW England, Drier in central areas, but some rain also for N Ireland and S Scotland, Temps 3-12 in Scotland, 13 in N Ireland and 13-18 over England and Wales.

Saturday - Rain in the East tomorrow, not continuous but some hefty showers which are likely to be frequent, this may push to effect NE Wales and the Midlands later. Dry over NW England, N Ireland, and Scotland, with scattered showers possible for Wales and SW England, Temps 13-17 in Scotland, 16 in N Ireland and 15-22 over England and Wales.

Sunday - A Generally brighter day than Saturday, bright in N Scotland, possibly brighter in western areas later, more showers are possible in the SE during the day, Temps 15-19 in Scotland, 18 in N Ireland and 21-23 over England and Wales.

Monday - Sunny Intervals and generally dry over the UK, Temps 17-19 in Scotland, 19 in N Ireland and 21-23 over England and Wales.

Tonight - Dry and clear over much of England and Wales, with the mist and fog patches developing, but heavy rain in W Scotland. Temps 11-14 across the UK.

Tomorrow- More Heavy Rain for W Scotland, with up to 4 inches possible in Argyll and Highland Scotland. Into the afternoon, Rain will spread into N Ireland. England and Wales will have a mainly dry day, with early morning fog effecting Southern coastal districts of both England and Wales, which may affect the rush hour in places.

Most inland places starting dry and bright. Into the afternoon, much of England and Wales will have some sunny intervals, but Northern England will cloud over due to the advancing front form Scotland, while SW England and Wales may be a little cloudier due to onshore winds, Temps 16-19 in Scotland, 19 in N Ireland and 20-23 over England and Wales.

During tomorrow night the rain will clear Northern areas and push south into England and Wales.

Wednesday - The cloud and rain will push South and will tend to fade away, but many places will be left with a rather cloudy, but in most places dry day, Temps 15-18 in Scotland, 18 in N Ireland and 18-20 over England and Wales.

Summary - Rain spreading south

Tonight - Rain in NW Scotland to start this night, heavy in places, this pushing South but turning lighter as it does so, with N Ireland, NW England and W Wales effected at times during the night, staying dry in the SE. Temps 10-13 in Scotland, 15 in N Ireland and 14-16 over England and Wales.

Tomorrow- Damp and cloudy over much of England, some fog over Wales and SW England, Cloudy in N Ireland, but brighter in E Scotland and NE England.

Into the afternoon, generally dry over Scotland, maybe a little dampness in the far North, bright in E Scotland as it will be generally to the east of mountains giving shelter to the SW wind, with NE England, the Midlands and E Anglia bright.

Cloudy generally in S England, with some general dampness over S Wales, SW England and over the far S coast of England. A few brighter spells are also possible in NE Wales, NW England, and N Ireland but some cloudy interludes are also possible at times. Temps 12-16 in Scotland, 18 in N Ireland and 19-23 over England and Wales.

Thursday - Wet over N Ireland, N England and Wales in the morning and this wet weather extending into S England for the afternoon, with some brightness for S Scotland, Temps 13-16 in Scotland, 16 in N Ireland and 17-20 over England and Wales.

Friday - Another wet day for England and W Wales with again the best of the sunshine in S Scotland, Temps 10-14 in Scotland, 14 in N Ireland and 15-17 over England and Wales. Feeling cold in a brisk Northerly wind.

Saturday - Sunny generally over England and Wales, More cloud in Scotland. Temps 11-16 in Scotland, 16 in N Ireland and 15-19 over England and Wales. Risk of a ground frost in places later.

Into the afternoon, It will stay wet over N Ireland, N England, N Wales and the N Midlands, while further South over Southern England and South Wales, it be largely cloudy but mainly dry. During Thursday Night, The rain will clear Northern Areas and push into SE England during Thursday Night.

Tonight - A rain band will affect N Wales, The N Midlands, Merseyside running in a line to Humberside in the E, and into the N midlands and Northern parts E Anglia. Generally cloudy elsewhere but mainly dry. During the night the rain will push SE and clear Northern areas, push into Wales and other southern areas for a time, so that by early morning the rain will only affect SE England and N East Anglia. Turning clearer behind in Wales, N Ireland, N W England and SW Scotland, Temps 4-6 in Scotland, 7 in N Ireland and 7-12 over England and Wales.

Tomorrow- A classic Northerly type situation tomorrow, Showers over N Scotland, the E Coast of England and N E Anglia, generally areas on windward coasts. Much drier and clearer inland, and Southern and Western areas will tend to the sunniest and warmest. Temps 10-13 in Scotland, 14 in N Ireland and 13-17 over England and Wales.

Saturday - The winds will turn to move a westerly direction and this will being cloud and rain into NI and W Scotland, with England and Wales having a mainly sunny or bright day, Temps 12-14 in Scotland, 16 in N Ireland and 17-19 over England and Wales.

Sunday - The cloud will tend to push back N and W, with E Scotland being much brighter, N Ireland and Scotland still being rather cloudy but mainly dry, while England and Wales will have another mainly sunny day, Temps 13-19 in Scotland, 15 in N Ireland and 17-20 over England and Wales.

Summary - Rain spreading south

Tonight - . In the evening a cold front will affect SW England, W Wales, NW England and into the far NE of England with some clear spells in the far SE. By morning the front will have pushed SE and should fade and gave only patchy drizzle and in some places fragment completely. Turing clearer in parts of Scotland and N Ireland and NE England, Temps 8-11 in Scotland, 9 in N Ireland and 6-13 over England and Wales, with the oldest weather in NE England.

Tomorrow- NE England and much of E Scotland will start sunny. Brighter over N Ireland, some showers in W Scotland, while most of England and Wales will be cloudy with some mist and fog in Southern parts, and some drizzle in possible for S Coastal fringes.

Into the afternoon, it ill turn drier and brighter from the north, so that by late afternoon, most places will be dry with good sunny spells, although the far South of England may remain rather cloudy. Temps 10-13 in Scotland, 14 in N Ireland and 13-17 over England and Wales.

The end of the week will see weather fronts from the Atlantic trying to push over the UK, bringing wet weather to Northern and Western parts, but Southern and Eastern parts, should remain dry under High Pressure.

Wednesday – Frontal Rain and Strong Winds will affect N Ireland and W Scotland; it will be cloudy over Central and Western areas of England and much of Wales. There may be some light rain at times for both Wales and SW England, but not amounting to much. Remaining dry and sunny over E districts of England, Cloudy but dry in E Scotland, Temps 13-17 in Scotland, 17 in N Ireland and 18-21 over England and Wales.

Thursday - Rain over Scotland and N Ireland, Cloudy over N England, Wales and SW England , Sunny again in SE England, Temps 13-17 in Scotland, 18 in N Ireland and 18-21 over England and Wales.

Tonight - Generally cloudy tonight over N Ireland and Scotland, with some light rain edging into the far West of Scotland. Over England and Wales, a mixture of cloud and clear spells, although this will lead to mist or fog patches by morning, Temps 10-12 in Scotland, 12 in N Ireland and 11-13 over England and Wales.

Tomorrow- Scotland, N Ireland And N England will start cloudy tomorrow, There will be brighter spells over Mid and North Wales and over the Midlands, much of the rest of England and Wales is set to be rather cloudy with mist possible over much over Southern England, the Midlands and Southern Wales. The overnight rain in the far NW of Scotland will very slowly edge into W Scotland and N Ireland by early afternoon with Winds picking up in W Scotland during the afternoon, most other parts will have a rather cloudy afternoon with some showers possible in the far SW, although a few brighter spells are possible in the SE, Temps 14-16 in Scotland, 18 in N Ireland and 19-21 over England and Wales.

Thursday - Some showers are set to develop over S Scotland, N England and N Wales, and these will come and go through the day, Drier in most other places, so N Scotland, Southern England and Wales should be dry, with some clearer spells possible in the SE, Temps 14-18 in Scotland, 18 in N Ireland and 19-22 over England and Wales.

Friday - A Front will push across the UK from the West and reside over eastern areas in the afternoon, leaving drier and brighter weather in the North and West, although hearty showers are possible in NW parts later, Temps 14-17 in Scotland, 15 in N Ireland and 17-21 over England and Wales.

Summary - Wet and Windy North West

Tonight - Clear over SE England, Cloudy over E Scotland, NW England, much of Wales, some rain over N Ireland and W Scotland, and this may spread into NW England and the rest of Scotland later, Some Dense fog patches are set to develop in SE and S England by early morning. Temps 13-16c over the UK.

Tomorrow- Damp to start in W and C Scotland and NI Ireland, Wales and SW England will be cloudy with the odd mist patch, while SE England will have dense fog patches, which may be slow to clear in places.

Into the afternoon, it will brighten up in the SE to give long sunny spells/Intervals, Cloudy over N England, N Ireland and Scotland, with some damp and Showery weather at times for W Scotland and N Ireland SE, Wales and SE England will be rather cloudy but some sunny intervals may develop later, Temps 15-17 in Scotland, 17 in N Ireland and 17-22 over England and Wales.

Friday - A Front will push across the UK from the West and lie over eastern areas in the afternoon, after a bright start in SE England, leaving drier and brighter weather in the North and West, although heavy showers are possible in NW parts later, Temps 13-16 in Scotland, 15 in N Ireland and 17-22 over England and Wales.

Saturday - Dry and Bright or Sunny in Southern areas, cloudier in N Ireland and Scotland with more frontal rain pushing in later, perhaps turning a little cloudier n Western parts of Wales later, Temps 10-14 in Scotland, 15 in N Ireland and 15-18 over England and Wales.

Tonight - A North South split; with generally clear weather to start the night over England and Wales, more cloud in Scotland and N Ireland. However cloud and rain will edge into Western areas later, Temps 12-14c Generally.

Tomorrow- A Front will steadily cross the UK from W to East, giving around 3 hrs of rain in most places. In the morning the rain will effect SW England, much of Wales, the far NW of England an effect much of Scotland, Drier behind the front over N Ireland and ahead of the front over much of England. During the day the rain band will steadily move Eastward, so that by later afternoon, the rain band will effect only SE England, with the rain having left other parts. It will turn brighter but some heavy showers are likely especially in W Scotland, Most places will feel much cooler tomorrow in a Westerly breeze possible reaching gale force in W Scotland, Temps 14-17 in Scotland, 15 in N Ireland and 17-21 over England and Wales.

Saturday - A Sunny day over much of the UK, possible a little cloud (ahead of the next frontal system) will move into Western areas later, Temps 13-14 in Scotland, 15 in N Ireland and 15-18 over England and Wales.

Sunday - Rain is likely for much of England, Wales and N Ireland, as another frontal system crosses from the West, However Scotland, looks set to remain dry and Sunny, Temps 14-17 in Scotland, 15 in N Ireland and 17-21 over England and Wales.

Summary – Wind and Rain sweeping South

Tonight – Rain over Western areas this evening will steadily and quickly push East, so that by morning the only parts remaining wet will be the far SE of England. However some showers are set to effect NW parts of Scotland, Temps 10-11 in Scotland, 14 in N Ireland and 14-16 over England and Wales.

Tomorrow- The front will linger in the far SE if England during the early morning but soon fade away, Mainly dry to start in most other Eastern districts of England and Scotland, more showers in Western areas particularly in Wales, SW England, while the showers in W Scotland are set to be thundery.

During the day the showers will tend to die away in most places but they are set to continue in W Scotland for much of the day, where there is the possibility of gale force winds. N Ireland and much of Eastern parts of England and Scotland are set to have sunny intervals for the afternoon, Temps 13-16 in Scotland, 15 in N Ireland and 17-20 over England and Wales.

Wednesday – A weather front is set to sweep across the UK, giving rain in most parts during the day, most places are set to be windy again especially in NW areas, Temps 13-16 in Scotland and 14-18 over England and Wales.

Thursday – another wet day, with another weather front sweeping across the UK giving rain to most parts, winds again look to be on the strong side, Temps 12-16 in Scotland and 16-18 over England and Wales.

A Synoptic chart for Friday suggests that a massive Low Pressure system over the UK is set to give strong NW winds and push several cold fronts to push in over the UK over Friday and over the weekend.

Warning – Northwest UK, Gales and Rain Tomorrow.

Tonight – Showery at times in the West, Clearer in the East, During the night showers in Southern and Western areas will tend to fade away but the showers in NW areas will tend intensify over W Scotland and N Ireland, Temps 7-9 in Scotland, 7 in N Ireland, 8-11 over England and Wales.

Tomorrow – Heavy Rain over N Ireland and W Scotland to start the day with some Gales or Severe Gales, however the conditions are set to improve for the afternoon, with the wind easing and the rain pushing away, Temps 12-13c.

Southern areas will start with a dry day, with some brightness but cloud will soon start advancing from the West, with some very heavy rain pushing into Wales, SW England, and much of N England, some of the bursts are set to be heavy with the possibility of local flooding. SE England should remain dry during the day, but should turn wet during the evening. Temps reaching up to 17c, with strong SW winds developing especially in western areas.

Thursday – A Much better day generally with good sunny spells possible, in most parts, however more cloud is set to pushing to Northern and Western areas ahead of the next band of rain on Friday, Temps 11-14 in Scotland, 14 in N Ireland, 15-18 over England and Wales.

Friday – Generally a wet day with bands of rain sweeping over the UK from the West, possible the rain will turn a little showery in Scotland. Winds will again be strong in places, Temps 14-16 in Scotland, 14 in N Ireland, 17-19 over England and Wales.
