It's turned into a grim night

A strange day with a huge temperature range, just before 7am it was only slightly above freezing, yet by midday it was already 16°C, just the kind of spring day I like.

It started off fairly misty but as this cleared it turned pleasantly warm and sunny. After midday however, it clouded over somewhat and the wind became stronger making it feel a lot chillier. In cloudy skies it has stayed very mild tonight, the Atlantic air circulating around the low pressure has definitely arrived, yet in a now strong SW'erly, it feels cold.
