Hi all did a total reinstall and lost all my links to weather collection data sites(ie UK radar, Lightning detector for UK) just wondered if anybody could help me in posting links for essential websites so i can get my computer set up for this seasons

Moved house and my rooftop view has been replaced by houses  so i can no longer rely on looking at horizons for info :(

Thnx all and hello for this season :)

There's a lot of lightning detectors out there.

    Europe:

    http://service.meteorage.com/euclid/euclid..._lightnings.gif

    http://www.sca.uqam.ca/lightning/eur_sfuk.gif

    UK:

    http://www.freedata.meteorologica.co.uk/li...g/lightning.jpg (Unreliable)

    http://www.ukspeedtraps.co.uk/weather/light0900.htm

    http://www.metcheck.com/premium/sferics.as...&locationID=569

    http://www.upminsterweather.co.uk/test/live_lightning.htm

    http://www.stormyweather.org.uk/screenshotData.htm (Out of date)

    http://www.peterboroughvws.info/stormvue.html

Another of my favourites is Nowcast, but it's offline at the moment. Shame as it's my favourite.

For radar it might be worth getting AVBrief or WeatherOnline as they're far more acurate than the met-office one.

Hope this helps you out.

I haven't included them because I imagine most people would already know where they are. I included all of the N-W lightning detectors.

    Another good website is http://www.estofex.org/

And here we have a brilliant feature courtesy of Net-weather, it's the satellite imagery direct from NOAA orbiting satellites:

OK its 2006 now YAY, I hope everyone had a good xmas / newyear.

As summer is now creeping up on us now albeit doesnt look close yet.

    Anyway.

Its that time of year again and im going to need some fresh data links for the 2006 tracker software. ( Im starting early so i get EVERYTHING needed installed ready )

Below is a list of stuff needed.

NOTE: NW extra will be in the subscribers section so that stuff wont be missed.( Will proberly just be a link to the site. )

    Anyways

Im mainly looking for lighting detector sites, So as many links would be cool.

Rainfall radar links would also be quite handy for overlay information.640x480 res would be nice :)

So anyone out there who has a secret site they visit drop me a line :D
