Had 1 flash of lightning and a very loud clap of thunder yesterday evening at 2110. Couldn't post this on yesterday's reports as the internet connection went down immediately afterwards and stayed down until after I went to bed.

Just to verify the above at between 1700-1720 a very impressive T-Storm over Central London, lots of Cg and Cc, AND Hailstones thrown in at the end for good measure, very nice 1st storm of the year.

had a very brief thunderstorm at 1800, moderate rain, temp drop of 4C with just 1 falsh and 1 rumble; looks like a line of Cunimbs now out to the east; they are the ones just gone over here.

    Another storm hitting me...

Crap the life out of me... Just normal heavy rain then massive flash with which you heard the crack of the lightning, then an immediate thunder roll. Two more flashes have just followed. Also hear sirens going off so something might have got struck :)

I have had 3 different storms here today,

1st 16.40z ish Clockwise rotation with poss squirells tale from lowering, loads of cg

2nd 17.45z Very slight clockwise rotation, moderate cg, hail and very raggedy trailing edge of storm.

3rd 19.20z A few cg and some cc lightning and a 10 minute hail shower.

Over all, a great afternoon here :)

yes after a pretty impressive night-time thunderstorm last night (with heavy rain, lots of thunder and lightning and aqually winds according to family) still didnt wake me up, despite waking everyone else up in the house.lol Today around about half siz we had a thunderstorm with thunder, lightning and heavy rain and we had a hail storm earlier on with only a few rumbles of thunder :)

I know this is a bit late but London had another brief thunderstorm at about 7pm tonight, not as bad as the 5pm one but 2 in one day is great.
