Drought

In the south of the UK, it seems to be very dry at the moment, and with no major rainfall on the forecasts, can members tell me the last time they received any significant rain. We had some at the start of August and a little last Sunday night but apart from that, about 13/14 dry days in the month.

Are there any members who have no rain at all this month, or alternatively were hit by the storms last weekend.

I think the East of the UK in general has had very little rainfall since the start of Spring. The West though has.

There was a little rain in Southampton in the evening on Friday 15th !

Same here Peter, I can't recall the last date we saw rain before that

well here in Colchester apart from Storms we had had no real rain since March/ April.

I have had no significant rain since Friday 1st August and it was pretty dry before that.

Missed the storms last week and only light rain Friday night.
