This morning saw a foggy start with a ground frost from the cold minimum last night. The fog soon lifted and the morning remained mostly clear with a slight mist and felt rather pleasant with a light breeze. After midday the cloud thickened and the wind became stronger making it feel much cooler despite temperatures still being well into double figures. The evening has seen some rain but this has stopped and at present it is overcast but dry with a south-easterly breeze making it feel chilly despite the temperature holding up. With a cold night and warm day, there was a huge 14.5°C difference between the minimum and maximum temperatures, this also meant the average temperature for the month was relatively unaffected today.

Current Temp: 7.8°C

Max Temp: 14.9°C (at 14:50)

Min Temp: 0.4°C (at 06:47)

Humidity: 90%

Pressure: 995.8hPa (Falling)

Dewpoint: 6.3°C

Wind: SE (9mph)

My April average currently stands at 8.9°C (+1.3°C Above the 1971-2000 average).
