7C here - ENE 8 mph

The occluded fron is certainly knocking on the door - the haar is well and truly arriving; foggy with vibility of about 1km vertically, and judging by how Arthur's Seat has disappeared, the fog is about 75m up in the city centre.

had a nice day of sunshine and showers, some heavy, today, as well as some superb cloudscapes as the cumulus really bubbled up late this afternoon.

The morning started bright with sunny spells and a light breeze after a rather cool night with clear skies. This continued until mid-afternoon when it became more overcast with the wind becoming stronger. This evening then saw the arrival of persistent rain, heavy at times, along with an increasingly chilly north-easterly wind. There are currently overcast skies with light drizzle and a slight mist, but temperatures are holding up due to the cloudy skies.

Current Temp: 5.9°C

Superb day, sunshine wall-to-wall all day, clear blue sky most of the day, just some high cloud moving in during the afternoon.

00.30bst 8ºC, 1015mB/, slight high cloud making a light sky and fuzzy moon,

hardly any breeze, lovely mild night.
