ooks like there is a big amount of thunderstorms moving up from the channel, should affect all of the south during the next few hours. looking forward to some storms! come on..

hopefully we will see some storm activity today on isle of wight .

can anyone tell me what is the best lightning detector to follow.

i have four and all say different information.. :(

Plenty to choose from there. :angry:

I find the Nowcast one reliable, although I've not really checked it lately.

The best thing to do is when there's a thunderstorm detected and there's strikes on the map then try and match it up with the radar, where there's lots of strikes in the same location as heavy rain on the radar then that's going to be the most acurate detector. :(
