    hi

Not a report but using the skew-T with temps and dewpoints as they are, then the Midlands seems likely to have cloud tops to 24,000ft, perhaps higher, with the south east more like 18-20,000ft.

    regards

    John

There were some sferics earlier in southwestern districts associated with the trough moving in.

There were sferics about 30 miles south of Flint about 1930, but they were weak and any storms over this area have disapated.

    In what direction?

The trough is still to the west of London, with little thundery activity showing on the last report.
