Typical April weather, sunshine and showers. Few showers during the day but beefed up early evening. Three separate thunderstorms between 5.30 and 6.30 - all shortlived with sheet lightening and hail. Beautifully clear now.

A typical April day, with mostly cloudy skies, occasional sunny spells and the odd heavy shower. One of the showers even had a rumble of thunder mixed in for good measure. It was also a mild day, the second mildest maxima of the month so far, along with the mildest minima. This enabled the average for the month to increase to 1.2°C above average, therefore with the next few days looking mild it seems April will finish well above average.

Current Temp: 7.7°C

Max Temp: 16.7°C (at 16:06)

Min Temp: 7.4°C (at 02:59)

Humidity: 84%

Pressure: 1014.2hPa (Rising)

Dewpoint: 5.1°C

Wind: SSE (5mph)

My April average currently stands at 8.8°C (+1.2°C Above the 1971-2000 average).
